There are 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals which were ratify at the UN General Assembly Heads of Government from 193 UN Member states on 25th September 2015. They include poverty, inequality, gender equality, health, education and governance as well as climate change and environmental protection.
The Goals apply equally to developed countries and developing countries. They act as a common blueprint for a sustainable future – as relevant to communities, households and individuals as they are to governments, businesses, and NGOs.
